every Wednesday evening - Beach Bang Fireworks - A spectacular fireworks show every Wednesday evening during the summer, weather permitting. The fireworks begin at 10:00 p.m. from the Second Avenue Pier and are visible up and down the beach. Extra-special, 25-minute fireworks shows will be held on July 4 and August 30 for the holidays.

August 6 - 8, 2010 - Craftsmen's Arts & Crafts Festival - 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM Myrtle Beach Convention Center - Corner of Oak & 21st. Original Designs/Work from over 250 artists/craftspeople from across the nation. See creative process in action as many demonstrate. August 30 - September 3, 2010 - World Amateur Handicap Championship - The PGA TOUR World Amateur Handicap Championship is the world's largest single-site golf tournament, attracting more than 4,000 golfers form around the globe.
