every Wednesday evening - Beach Bang Fireworks
- A spectacular fireworks show every Wednesday evening during the summer, weather permitting. The fireworks begin at 10:00 p.m. from the Second Avenue Pier and are visible up and down the beach. Extra-special, 25-minute fireworks shows will be held on July 4 and August 30 for the holidays


July 4, 2010 - Surfside Beach Fourth of July Celebration
- 6:00 - 10:00 PM, Martin Park, Between 6th & 7th Ave. on Dogwood Dr., Surfside Beach. Band games and consessions. *NO FIREWORKS For more info call: (843) 650-9548.


July 4, 2010 - North Myrtle Beach July Fourth Celebration
- 9:30pm -10:30 pm Cherry Grove Pier, 3500 N. Ocean Blvd., North Myrtle Beach. Fireworks and concert.

July 4, 2010 - Murrells Inlet 4th of July Boat Parade & Fireworks
- The annual boat parade starts at 3pm at Garden City Point. Fireworks light up the marsh skies at 10pm. Best viewing for both events is anywhere along the Murrells Inlet marshfront. Call (843) 357-2007 for more information.


July 19 - 25, 2010 - Mustang Week
- Annual Mustang Car Show at Myrtle Beach Mall. Over 300 Mustangs are expected ranging from 1964 1/2 to current date. Registration 9am-11am...11am-2pm Judging...4pm Awards. Southeast's LARGEST Mustang and SVT Cruise-In at Myrtle Beach Mall, 1pm-8pm. Over 300 Mustangs are expected ranging from 1964 1/2 to current date. Pro-Dyno on site with mobile dyno & car related vendors will be present. For more information call (910) 894-3592.


July 22 - 24, 2010 - National Father & Son Team Classic
- This three day golf event has become the largest father and son golf tournament in the world. A 54-hole competition of Four Ball Stroke Play, Pinehurst Scotch and 2-Man Select Shot. The tournament is open to any father/son type relationship, from grandfathers and grandsons to uncles and nephews to fathers and son-in-laws. Teams are flighted based on USGA handicap and "sandbaggers" beware. The tournament committee will go to great lengths to protect the integrity of this event.
