February 25, 2010 - Heroes Kick-Off Celebrity Waiter Luncheon - 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM at Jimmy Buffet's Margaritaville at Broadway at the Beach, Myrtle Beach. Great food, entertainment, unique auction items, local celebrities/media personalities. All proceeds benefit local Red Cross services. For more information call (843)477-0020.

February 27 - 28, 2010 - Annual Horry County Museum Quilt Gala - The gala is held in the 17,000 sq. ft. Ocean Lakes Family Campground Recreation Center located on the Atlantic Ocean in Myrtle Beach, S.C. at the intersection of Hwy. 544 and Hwy. 17 Bus. The Quilt Gala is not a judged or juried show, anyone can participate by entering a quilt. Applications to enter a quilt can be obtained at the Museum, through the mail, or the Museum’s website. Registration for the quilts is held at the Museum two weeks prior to the Gala. (All quilts are fully insured and secured while in our possession.) Admission will be $5 at the door. February 27, 2010 - A Taste of The South - Our members will be displaying their businesses from 11:00 AM - 3:00 PM in the Gym at North Myrtle Beach High School while local Restaurants will be serving A Taste of The South in the Cafeteria. Local High School Students will be displaying their Arts and Crafts and participating in all the activities. Admission is $5.00 per adult. For more information call (843) 626-7444.
